I am so pleased that my Swedish friend Lars-Ingemar Lundstrom finds my novel a tome true to history and an enjoyable read. He wrote…

Have now read and reviewed my old friend Jay Batista’s new novel, “Thorfinn and the witch’s curse” about Vikings in the UK. An exciting and imaginative story with Clear Nordic Elements. Read about the book and my review on:

I have known Lars-Ingemar for many years and he was the first person to take me to a Skane and a medieval Swedish castle, a wonderful place that has lived in my imagination for years, and yes, it will become a setting for Thorfinn’s future adventures! Here is Lars-Ingemar on his “Thinking rock,” on the coast of Skane in Southern Sweden near Malmo. This wonderful view and peaceful setting is where he goes to think his deepest thoughts and plan his own written works. It is a marvelous place and I am honored to have visited it–here Lars-Ingemar sits with my book!

As an author working hard to create works based in history, it is very gratifying to hear from my readers that I have properly captured the setting and feel of the Ninth Century Scandinavians who spread out across Europe and influenced the world. Thanks for your vote of confidence, Lars-Ingemar!
